Obituary for Carol D. Telfer (Dickus)

Carol D. Telfer (Dickus)
Carol Ann D. Telfer, 61, of West Coxsackie, New York, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of John Andrew Telfer for over 31 years. She was born October 6, 1956 in New Haven, Connecticut; daughter of the late Anthony Victor and Eileen Luedee Dickus. Carol was recently retired, having worked for over 40 years for Conrail and CSX. Carol’s greatest joy in life was her husband, family, friends, and faithful dog Dora.
Sister of Eileen Dickus (Michael) Barbaro. Aunt of Philip Michael (Patricia) Barbaro, and Matthew Louis (Kacianne) Barbaro. Great Aunt of Michael Joseph, Matteo Philip, Luke Anthony, and Isabella Eileen Barbaro. Carol is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Carol loved all of her family and friends unconditionally, and her beautiful blue eyes and warm smile would light up any room.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 12pm at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church, Herrick St., Rensselaer. Relatives and friends may call at the CHURCH on Thursday prior to the funeral from 10am – 12pm. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
In lieu of flowers, Carol’s family requests memorial donations to the New Baltimore Fire Dept., P.O. Box 390, New Baltimore, NY 12124, or CGHS/SPCA, 111 Humane Society Road, Hudson, NY 12534.
