Life Story for Patricia A. Fiacco (Melcher)

Schenectady- Patricia A. (Melcher) Fiacco, 59, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at home.
Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Donald and Marilyn (Smith) Melcher. Trish worked for the last 17 years as a teacher’s aide for the Guilderland School District.
Trish’s most precious job was to take care of her husband, her sons and her very special love, her Golden Retriever, Jenny. She was an extra-ordinary teacher’s assistant helping her special needs children. Trish had many friends and welcomed anyone into her home and always wanted to lend a helping hand . Trish was known as the beautiful lady with a warm heart.
She is survived by husband Bruce E. Fiacco; her sons Joseph A. Fiacco and Thomas E. Fiacco; her siblings Sharon Smith, James Melcher, Donna (Allan) Armstrong and many brothers and sisters-in laws.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the W.J. Lyons Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 4-6:30pm. A service of remembrance will begin at 6:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 11am at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 140 Maple Ave., Altamont, NY.
