Frederick J.  Meisner
East Greenbush – Frederick J. Meisner, III, 60, died Sunday, October 7, 2018 at his home.
Born in Albany he was the son of the late Frederick J. and Marie J. (Hotaling) Meisner, Jr. Fred was a loving son, brother, and such a compassionate caring friend to so many through his years. He loved to celebrate life and happiness with all those around him. Frederick brought joy to so many while working over 30 years in the Hospitality / Restaurant industry in Florida before moving back to East Greenbush where he joined his siblings working in the family business, Off Shore Pier.
Fred is survived by his siblings, David (Marjorie) Meisner and Nancy (Mark) Taft; his nephews Mark (Jared) Taft, David (Randi) Taft and Chris (Patsy) Taft and niece Rachel (Harold) Meisner and his grandnephews, Cameron, Connor and Carter Taft and so many life long friends he adored.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the W. J. Lyons, Jr., Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1 to 4pm.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Ln, Latham, NY 12110
