Life Story for Josefina Pancic

Josefina  Pancic
East Greenbush- Josefina Pancic, born, June 28, 1919 in Madrid, Spain passed away peacefully at the age of 99 at Evergreen Commons Nursing Home in East Greenbush. Josefina worked for the Madrid Government and the Venezuelan and Cuban Consulate in PA. She resided in East Greenbush and was a daily communicant of The Historic St. Mary’s Church in Albany into her 90 plus years. Josefina was devoted to her faith and loved working in her yard. Widow of Franjo Pancic, Scientist at the former Sterling Winthrop Research Institute. Sister of the late Purification, Carmen, Dolores and Eduardo Cruz Cebrian all of Madrid. Fina, as she was known to her friends, cherished her friendship with Peter Miralles and William Mahar families of East Greenbush.
The Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered Friday morning at 9:30 at Historic St. Mary’s Church, Lodge Street Albany. All are welcome to attend. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush. There will be no evening calling hours.
