Life Story for Judith Mary Mather (Driscoll)

Judith Mary  Mather (Driscoll)
Albany- Judith Mary (Driscoll) Mather age 65, daughter of Shirley (Palmer) Driscoll and the late Joseph Driscoll. Wife of 37 years to Michael Mather. Judy attended St. Teresa’s grade school K-9 and graduated from Cardinal McClosky High School. She worked for the New York State Dept. of State as well as other NYS agencies over the years. After graduation Judy worked for the Federal Government and then relocated to Florida where she lived and met her husband. During their marriage they lived briefly in England before moving back home to Albany. Family members will always remember Judy as a very kind, loving and generous woman who loved to laugh.
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include her 2 wonderful daughters Shirley “Shelley” and Jacqueline Mather both of Albany; her sister Patricia Driscoll; her brothers James (Georgia) Driscoll; Terence, Daniel and Jay (Karen) Driscoll all of Albany; brother-in-law John Mather; sisters-in-law Allison Simms and Joan Cooper and spouse all of England. Pre-deceased by her mother-in-law Vicky Mather of England. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral from the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Monday morning at 11:00 all are welcome to attend. There will be no evening calling hours. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery East Greenbush. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Community Hospice Foundation, 310 So. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY 12208.
